At Myersplace LLC, we believe your business data belongs to you. GigEZ is designed to help gig drivers track their performance and maximize tax savings while maintaining total privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data.
GigEZ requires specific permissions to provide its professional tracking features:
- Location Data (GPS): We collect precise location data to calculate your business mileage and map your routes. This data is accessed in the background so you can continue tracking while using other apps (like Uber or Lyft). We do not sell, share, or broadcast your location history to any third parties.
- Microphone & Audio: If you choose to use the "Voice Log" or "Voice Notes" features, the app accesses your microphone to transcribe your earnings and expenses using speech-to-text technology. We do not record or store your private conversations.
- Camera: The app uses your camera specifically to allow you to take photos of gas or food receipts for your business records. These photos are stored on your device.
- Financial Data: Any earnings or expense data you enter remains on your device. We use this data strictly to generate your tax reports and performance dashboards.
- Local Storage: By default, all your driving sessions, routes, and financial data are stored securely on your physical device.
- Google Drive (Pro Feature): If you choose to use the Cloud Backup feature, a copy of your database is uploaded to your own private Google Drive account. Myersplace LLC does not have access to your Google Drive files.
- We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information, location history, or financial records with advertisers, data brokers, or other companies.
- You have full control over the data GigEZ accesses:
- You can enable or disable Location, Camera, and Microphone permissions at any time through your Android System Settings.
- You can delete your entire driving history at any time by clearing the app data.
